2008 Innovator of the Year Award
The Alliance for Nonprofit Management honors excellence in capacity building
"best practices" each year. The Taproot Foundation received the award because

support in an era of reduced government funding for social services. Even when
funder budgets are in the red, the Taproot Foundation can utilize human capital
to ensure that nonprofits have the resources they need to thrive.
