The Taproot Foundation convenes leaders from the for-profit and nonprofit sectors to discuss pro bono strategies, trends and best practices. Our convenings are an opportunity to teach and learn from experienced executives who are making pro bono work an integral part of their business.

Pro Bono Roundtable

This was a historic opportunity for committed companies to shape the direction of the pro bono movement in the United States and to be known as catalysts of this critical effort. Attendees - Corporate Chief Foundation Officers and Pro Bono Intermediaries - explored the challenges to expanding pro bono in the next two years and developed potential solutions; identified collective efforts to address challenges facing intermediaries; and discussed the mechanisms necessary for measuring, quantifying and evaluating pro bono efforts.


The Pro Bono Summit

In partnership with the President's Council on Service & Civic Participation, the Pro Bono Summit brought together industry leaders from corporations, academia, trade associations, and nonprofit organizations to create a vision for addressing the President's Council's challenge of increasing the donation of pro bono consulting services by $1 billion annually.
