What if you don't meeting the criteria above? There are still opportunities for you to engage with Taproot Foundation and help nonprofits. Please see below for our FAQ.
Q. My firm doesn't offer marketing, technology or human resources services.
A. We are always expanding our practice areas and will soon be launching a strategy management practice area. Please check back with our website.
Q. I'm not in your regions.
A. Taproot Foundation is growing...we may be in your region in the future. Our homepage has a frequently updated map of our markets.
Q. I don't have 20 employees.
A. You and your co-workers can still volunteer as individuals. We will engage you onto a project with other Taproot Foundation volunteers. To apply as an individual volunteer, please fill out a volunteer profile.
Q. I'm a niche shop. I don't have employees to fit all of the necessary skills for the project.
A. You and your co-workers can still volunteer as individuals. We will place you onto a project with other volunteers who have the needed skillsets. To apply as an individual volunteer, please fill out a volunteer profile.
Q. What's the Account Director role?
A. You can view all of our volunteer roles here.
- Offer services in marketing, technology, or human resources
- Have an office and staff in one of our regions:
- Bay Area
- Seattle
- Chicago
- New York
- Boston
- Washington DC
- Pledge to complete at least one project per year
- Have at least 20 employees per project pledged and have the full breadth of staff skills to handle the range of work required for the project.
- Identify an Account Director or senior project lead to oversee the project and interface with Taproot Foundation Program staff.
