Many nonprofits struggle with inconsistent messages, an out of date visual identity or marketing materials that don't reflect the quality and culture of the organization. Our Marketing practice will bring professional marketing skills to bear in solving these problems and help your organization express clear and effective messages to your key stakeholders.

Designing and building a new website or choosing and implementing a new donor database require specialized skills that are often unavailable in-house or can be expensive to hire out. The pro-bono professionals in our Information Technology practice will help you build the technology that will allow you to develop stronger relationships with funders, donors, clients and the community, while also increasing the productivity of your staff.

Nonprofits want a disciplined, data-driven, consensus-based process when making critical strategic planning decisions. But getting there can be a challenging and time consuming process. Our Strategy Management practice provides critical support for your organization's strategic planning process, and will provide you with the data you will need to create a solid strategic plan and ways to monitor and measure your execution against that plan.

Well executed HR programs will put a nonprofit in a position to find and retain top talent, optimize performance and ensure that staff activity is achieving key organizational strategies. Our Leadership Development & Strategic HR practice is dedicated to helping your nonprofit organization assess and implement HR programs that will allow you to achieve those goals.

Creating a comfortable and productive work environment has the potential to increase impact and effectiveness in any organization. The Taproot Foundation has partnered with "The 1%" program of Public Architecture to provide the tools to ensure nonprofits have a work environment that is aligned with their mission.
