The volunteer team leader (Account Director) assembles a team of qualified volunteers based on the scope of the project.

• Service grant teams consist of 3-6 volunteers
• Volunteers are recruited and screened based on their professional skills
• Each volunteer is assigned a specific role on a project team, with defined responsibilities
• Each team is managed by a professional Project Manager and receives high-level support from Taproot Foundation staff
• This stage typically takes five weeks
