Pro Bono Summit
Since 2013, the Taproot Foundation and BMW Foundation have convened the leaders of the pro bono movement to share challenges and best practices among peers. These gatherings help us increase our impact and hold each other accountable to doing everything we can to deliver and facilitate pro bono work that drives social change. The summit format and location change each year to accommodate the changing needs of attendees.
Pro Bono Summit 2015
GLOBAL | Berlin, Germany, February 2015. The Global Pro Bono Summit is an invitation-only convening of pro bono and CSR leaders worldwide who come together to share insights and develop strategies to further drive and shape the global pro bono movement. The program will be a combination of interactive workshops and lightly guided discussion forums to create opportunities for peers and thought leaders to learn and share knowledge and experiences of working in the pro bono field. U.S. | Chicago, June 2-4, 2015. The US Summit is an invitation-only gathering that brings together nonprofit pro bono specialists to align around best practices and priorities for the field. Topics include innovation highlights (who's doing what in the field); working sessions on key advances; sector leaders speaking on best practices; and shared case studies. The US Summit also brings together corporate practitioners of pro bono programs to share best practices and advances in the field. Topics include innovations in corporate programs, discussions about key challenges, and overall trends, and will be informed by any relevant insights from the Global Pro Bono Summit. After four days of dynamic and engaging workshops, design sessions and panel discussions on pro bono, the 2014 Global Pro Bono Summit has exceeded expectations. In tandem with the BMW Foundation’s 17th Transatlantic Forum, the Summit Pro Bono isn't working for free, it's working for purpose. brought together global leaders from across different sectors to share insights and develop strategies to drive the pro bono movement forward.
More than 200 individuals met in San Francisco, California to roll up their sleeves, strengthen the pro bono ethic and dive deep on new and innovative ways to engage and grow the field.
